Here’s a full, simple, foolproof bacon recipe 🥓
(crispy, flavorful, and less messy)

🥓 Perfect Crispy Bacon (Oven Method – Best Results)

Ingredients

  • Bacon strips (any type: pork, thick-cut, or turkey)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Set oven to 200°C / 400°F.
  2. Prepare the tray
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper
(optional: place a wire rack on top for extra crispiness).
  3. Arrange bacon
Lay bacon strips flat in a single layer.
    Do not overlap.
  4. Bake
Place in the center of the oven and bake for:

    • 15–18 minutes → chewy
    • 18–22 minutes → crispy
    • 22–25 minutes → extra crispy
      (Time depends on thickness.)
  5. Drain
Remove bacon and place on paper towels to absorb excess fat.
  6. Serve hot 🔥

🍳 Alternative: Pan-Fried Bacon

  1. Place bacon in a cold pan
  2. Turn heat to medium
  3. Cook slowly, turning occasionally
  4. Remove when golden and crisp

👉 Starting in a cold pan prevents burning and improves texture.

🔥 Pro Tips

  • For extra crisp, sprinkle lightly with black pepper before cooking
  • For sweet bacon, brush lightly with maple syrup in the last 3 minutes
  • Save bacon grease for cooking eggs or vegetables

⚠️ Safety Tip

Never leave bacon unattended—hot grease can splatter.
