Here’s a full, festive guide for making your popular cookies, plus tips for baking them in large batches like you do at Christmas:

🍪 Your Simple & Popular Christmas Cookies Recipe

Ingredients (Makes ~50–60 cookies; multiply for 500)

  • 250 g (1 cup + 2 tbsp) unsalted butter, softened
  • 200 g (1 cup) sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 400 g (3¼ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: chocolate chips, nuts, or sprinkles

Instructions

1️⃣ Cream butter and sugar

  • In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 min)
  • Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract

2️⃣ Mix dry ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture
  • Stir until just combined

3️⃣ Shape cookies

  • Roll dough into small balls (1–2 tbsp each)
  • Place on baking sheets lined with parchment paper, leaving space between cookies

4️⃣ Optional toppings

  • Flatten slightly with a fork
  • Add chocolate chips, nuts, or festive sprinkles

5️⃣ Bake

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden
  • Let cool 5 minutes on the sheet, then transfer to wire rack

Tips for Large Batches (500+ cookies!)

  1. Work in batches: Prepare 2–3 sheets at a time
  2. Use multiple baking sheets to save time
  3. Pre-portion dough into balls before baking
  4. Label trays if using different add-ins (chocolate, nuts, sprinkles)
  5. Cool completely before storing in airtight containers
  6. Freeze dough balls: Bake straight from frozen to save prep time

🧠 Pro Tip

For extra soft cookies:

  • Add 1 tbsp milk or sour cream to the dough
  • Don’t over-bake — cookies continue to firm up as they cool

If you want, I can make a step-by-step plan for baking 500 cookies efficiently, including timing, batch rotation, and storage tips for Christmas.
