Here’s a simple and delicious way to cook raw banana slices in a slow cooker using just 4 ingredients. The result is soft, sweet, and flavorful, perfect as a snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  1. Raw bananas – 4–5 medium, peeled and sliced
  2. Coconut milk – 1 cup (for creaminess)
  3. Jaggery or brown sugar – ½ cup (for natural sweetness)
  4. Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon (for aroma and flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bananas: Peel and slice the raw bananas into rounds or small cubes.
  2. Combine ingredients: In the slow cooker, add the banana slices, coconut milk, jaggery, and cardamom powder. Stir gently to mix.
  3. Cook:
    • Low heat: 3–4 hours
    • High heat: 1.5–2 hours
Until the bananas are soft and infused with the coconut-jaggery flavor.
  4. Optional garnish: Add roasted nuts or a little ghee for richness.
  5. Serve: Warm as a dessert or snack. Can be stored in the fridge for 2–3 days.

Why it’s amazing

  • Naturally sweet & creamy—no artificial sugar needed.
  • Soft texture with a dessert-like aroma from cardamom.
  • Versatile: Great for breakfast, snacks, or even as a side dish.

If you want, I can also give a quick 1-hour version that’s just as tasty, perfect when you don’t have hours to wait.

Do you want me to give that shortcut version?
