Prepare this homemade syrup and you will get rid of cough, phlegm and flu once and for all

Here’s a safe, natural, homemade syrup that can help soothe cough, reduce phlegm, and support recovery from flu symptoms. It won’t replace medical treatment if you have a serious infection, but it’s very effective for mild colds and flu-like symptoms.


🍯 Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey (soothes the throat, has mild antimicrobial properties)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger juice or grated ginger (anti-inflammatory, helps clear mucus)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (vitamin C, supports immunity)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder (optional, anti-inflammatory)
  • ½ cup water

🥣 Preparation

  1. Boil ½ cup of water and add grated ginger. Let it simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Strain the ginger water into a bowl.
  3. Mix in honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon while the liquid is warm (not boiling hot—honey loses benefits if overheated).
  4. Let it cool slightly and store in a clean jar in the fridge.

  • Take 1–2 teaspoons 3 times a day.
