Air Fryer Cranberry Brie Bites
Ingredients (Makes 12 bites):
-
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
-
1 small wheel of brie cheese
-
1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)
-
1 egg (for egg wash — optional)
-
Optional garnishes:
-
Chopped pecans or walnuts
-
Rosemary leaves
-
Honey drizzle
-
Instructions
1. Prep the puff pastry
-
Cut thawed puff pastry into 12 equal squares (a 3×4 grid works perfectly).
2. Add brie
-
Cut brie into small cubes (about 1-inch pieces).
-
Place one piece of brie in the center of each puff pastry square.
3. Add cranberry
-
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of the brie.
4. Form the bites
-
Fold the corners of the puff pastry up and over the filling (they don’t need to seal completely).
-
Optional: brush with a light egg wash for extra golden color.
5. Air fry
-
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
-
Place bites in the basket not touching (you might need 2 batches).
-
Air fry 6–8 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
6. Serve
-
Serve warm.
-
Optional toppings: sprinkle chopped nuts, rosemary, or drizzle with honey.
Tips
-
Don’t overfill or the bites burst.
-
Brie rind is edible—no need to remove it.
-
For extra sweetness, use cranberry-orange sauce.
-
For savory lovers, add a tiny piece of crispy bacon under the cranberry.
