Posted on December 4, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a quick and flavorful recipe for Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage, and Broccoli — a one-pan dish perfect for weeknight dinners.

Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage, and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice or pasta, for serving

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the sausage and broccoli

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sausage slices and cook until lightly browned, 3–4 minutes.
  3. Add broccoli florets, season with salt and pepper, and cook 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Remove sausage and broccoli from the skillet and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the shrimp

  1. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil.
  2. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  3. Add minced garlic during the last minute of cooking.

Step 3: Make the honey garlic sauce

  1. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  2. Add honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes to the skillet.
  3. Stir to coat shrimp, sausage, and broccoli evenly.

Step 4: Combine and serve

  1. Return sausage and broccoli to the skillet and toss everything together.
  2. Serve immediately over rice or pasta.

Tips

  • For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lime or sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
  • Adjust sweetness and saltiness by varying honey and soy sauce amounts.
  • Use pre-cooked sausage for a faster meal.

I can also provide a sheet-pan version of this recipe for easy cleanup if you want a one-tray dinner.
