🍫🥜 Homemade Crunch Bars
Makes: 12–16 bars
Ingredients
Base Layer

2 cups crispy rice cereal

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup powdered sugar
Chocolate Layer

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tbsp peanut butter
Instructions
1. Prep

Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
2. Make the peanut butter base

In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter + peanut butter together until smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar.

Fold in crispy rice cereal until coated.

Press mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
3. Make the chocolate topping

Melt chocolate chips and 2 tbsp peanut butter in the microwave or a double boiler until smooth.

Spread evenly over the peanut butter-cereal base.
4. Chill

Refrigerate at least 1–2 hours until firm.
5. Slice and serve

Lift bars out using the parchment overhang.

Cut into squares or rectangles and enjoy!
Tips

Add chopped nuts, mini marshmallows, or pretzel pieces for extra texture.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

For faster setting, pop bars in the freezer for 20–30 minutes.
