  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional, adds color & mild flavor)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare shrimp
    • In a large bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil or melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Add Parmesan
    • Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the shrimp and toss lightly to coat evenly.
  4. Bake
    • Spread shrimp in a single layer in the baking dish.
    • Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until shrimp are pink, opaque, and slightly golden on top.
    • Optional: For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end—watch carefully to avoid burning.
  5. Serve
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
    • Perfect with rice, pasta, or a simple green salad.
