Here’s a classic, super-addictive recipe for Ranch Oyster Crackers—perfect for snacking, parties, soup toppers, or holiday gift bags. Takes just a few minutes!


🧂 Ranch Oyster Crackers

Ingredients

  • 1 package (9–12 oz) oyster crackers
  • ½ cup vegetable oil (or canola oil)
  • 1 packet Ranch dressing mix (dry)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dill weed (optional but traditional)
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat (optional)

You can make these with or without baking.
If baking, preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).

2. Mix the seasoning

In a small bowl, whisk together:

  • Oil
  • Ranch mix
  • Garlic powder
  • Dill
  • Lemon pepper (if using)

3. Coat the crackers

  • Place oyster crackers in a large bowl or a gallon zip-top bag.
  • Pour the seasoned oil mixture over the crackers.
  • Toss or shake until all crackers are evenly coated.

4. Bake (for best crunch)

Spread crackers on a baking sheet and bake 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway.

Let coated crackers sit for 1–2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the oil absorbs.

5. Cool & serve

Cool completely before storing.

  • Use buttery crackers (like mini club crackers) instead of oyster crackers.
