1/2 cup heavy cream
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tbsp butter
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
Salt & pepper to taste
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Sear the steak bites
-
Pat steak cubes dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Sear steak cubes in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
-
Remove steak and set aside.
2. Make garlic butter
-
Reduce heat to medium.
-
In the same skillet, melt 3 tbsp butter.
-
Add minced garlic and optional herbs; sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
-
Return steak bites to skillet and toss in garlic butter to coat.
3. Make the Parmesan cream sauce
-
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 tbsp butter.
-
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
-
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
-
Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
-
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Serve
-
Plate the steak bites and pour the Parmesan cream sauce over the top (or serve on the side for dipping).
-
Garnish with chopped parsley.
-
Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
✨ Tips for Success
-
High heat = perfect sear; avoid overcrowding the pan.
-
Steak choice: sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin works best.
-
Make it extra garlicky: add roasted garlic to the cream sauce.
-
Optional kick: a pinch of red pepper flakes in the cream sauce.
If you want, I can also create a one-skillet version that cooks the steak and makes the Parmesan cream sauce all in the same pan for even easier cleanup.
