2. Layer the Slow Cooker

  • Add onions, carrots, and potatoes to the bottom.
  • Place the roast on top.

3. Make the Sauce

  • Whisk together beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Pour over the roast.
  • Add bay leaves.

4. Cook

  • LOW: 8–9 hours (best texture)
  • HIGH: 4–5 hours
    Cook until the meat is fork-tender and shreds easily.

5. Serve

  • Remove bay leaves.
  • Slice or shred the roast.
  • Spoon juices over the meat and vegetables.
