Here’s a simple and delicious Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin recipe that’s juicy, flavorful, and easy to make at home:


Ingredients

  • 1 pork tenderloin (about 1–1.5 lbs / 450–700 g)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon ginger, grated (adds extra flavor)
  • Optional garnish: chopped green onions or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    • Set oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the sauce:
    • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and ginger (if using).
  3. Season the pork:
    • Pat the tenderloin dry, then season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Sear the pork:
    • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear the pork on all sides for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Bake with sauce:
    • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the pork.
    • Transfer the skillet to the oven (or move pork to a baking dish) and bake 15–20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Rest and serve:
    • Let the pork rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.
    • Drizzle with remaining pan sauce and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

  • For extra caramelization, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.
  • You can double the sauce and serve some on the side.
  • Works well with rice, roasted veggies, or mashed potatoes.
